SEO Keuring is run by Niels Hoogendoorn. We keep as little as we can, sell nothing on and use no cookies or trackers. Below is exactly what we do keep.

When you ask for a check

Your website, your email address and the language of the page. We use them to check your site, email you the result and talk about it. You asked for it, that’s our basis. No newsletter and no other offers.

When we contact you

We also check the websites of businesses we pick ourselves. Then we keep what your website shows: your business name, town, the email address and names of contacts on your site, and the result of the check. Our basis is legitimate interest: we think it’s useful to you. Rather not? One reply is enough, we delete everything and you won’t hear from us again.

Your personal page

Did you get a link or QR code to a page with your check? It isn’t listed in Google. When you open it, we only keep which page it was and when. No IP address and no cookie.

Who else is involved

The site runs on Cloudflare, which, like any host, sees IP addresses in its logs to keep attacks out. Requests sit at Cloudflare briefly and then on our own computer. We judge a website’s content with the help of AI (Claude by Anthropic). Fonts come from our own server, not from Google.

How long we keep it

As long as we’re in touch. If neither of us hears from the other for a year, we delete your data. If you become a client, we keep the invoice for seven years, because the Dutch tax office asks us to.

What you can ask

You can always ask what we have on you, have it corrected or deleted, and object. Email niels@seokeuring.nl and we’ll sort it within a month, usually the same day. Not happy with how we handle it? You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
